Iranian teenager nominated for Germany`s Under-19 football team

IRNA - Hertha Berlin`s Iranian striker Askhan Dejagah has been nominated for Germany`s Under-19 national football squad which is currently preparing itself for next week`s European Cup in Switzerland, the local Berlin press reported Friday. 
Germany is to face Spain, Poland and Turkey in the first round of the European Cup. 
A 17-year-old teenager, Dejagah is one of the youngest pros ever to play in the German Bundesliga. 
Dejagah comes from a "footballer family" as his father played for Iranian first division club Esteghlal (formerly known as Taj) before the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
